The iOS 13.2 and iPadOS 13.2 released by Apple for the iPhone and iPad comes with a few updated features. The update has the usual bug fixes along with security improvements. It is important to mention that Apple is adding quite a handful of features to their latest OS.
My First catch is the new emojis on iOS 13.2 as the Unicode 12.0 is now supported by the company which in turn gives users access to now create all possible combinations and forms of hand holding-couple emojis irrespective of skin tone or gender. Users now have access to a number of new accessibility emojis like humans on a wheelchair, a person with a white cane, a service dog including prosthetic arms and legs. Also, users can now get yawning face, new animals, and new food options.
For iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro users, iOS 13.2 now enables an image-processing feature that should give your photos better quality. This feature know as Deep Fusion is attributed to machine learning-enabled processing.
It’s important to mention that changing the resolution and frame rate of your videos is now possible in the Camera app directly.
Users can now opt out of sharing Siri recordings with Apple employees as well as deleting their Siri and dictation history.
To do this all you have to do is go to Settings>>Privacy>>Analytics and Improvements to opt out at any time.
Finally, if you have an HomeKit-enabled camera, iOS 13.2 now enables HomeKit Secure Video and also adds support for the new AirPods Pro.
Please note that before updating to iOS 13.2, you need back up your device and also make sure your iCloud backup is up to date by tapping on your account information at the top after opening the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad and then on your device name. Alternatively, you can back up your iOS device manually in itunes by plugging your iOS device into your computer.
Yo should not forget proper encryption of your back up in itunes because it is safer if your computer got hacked
After this, you should go to Settings as soon as possible to get in the queue. Navigate to ‘Settings,’ then ‘General’ and then ‘Software Update.’ Then you should see ‘Update Requested…’ It will then automatically start downloading once the download is available.
Have you started using this OS? If yes, what do you think about it? Let’s have your comments.
